Yoghurt-simmered fish

One of my internet finds and my favourite fish recipe at the moment is yoghurt-simmered fish by Anjum Anand published on timesonline.co.uk. Although the combination of fish and yoghurt sounds weird at first, this recipe is really worth trying.

The tangy and creamy yoghurt sauce works well with any kind of white fish and the whole thing is done within 30 minutes. The recipe also calls for ground almonds which give the sauce a great texture.

I’ve played around with the spices a little bit and finally ended up skipping the fresh coriander. Bu then again, I’ve never been particularly fond of coriander.

So if you’re looking for a new turn on preparing fish, give it a try!

Welcome

You are about to witness my first steps into the foodie blogosphere. More about me and what I cook and eat soon.

After years of reading food blogs and trying out all the great recipes at home, I decided to let go of my passive attitude and start blogging myself. To get me started, I just joined the Daring Cooks and I can’t wait to take on my first challenge!

Hope to see you around some time!
